Qualifications

• Knowledge of ICD-10, CM/CPT/HCPCS coding conventions and procedures.
• Basic knowledge of medical practice management information systems.
• Must maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to exam rooms and prepare for physician assessment.
• Record and maintain patient medical data in charts.
• Assist physicians with patient and professional requests (phone) and staff.
• Perform physician-requested ancillary and/or surgical procedures.
