Responsibilities include:

• Greeting patients and entering new patient information
• Checking patients in and out, verifying insurance coverage
• Answering telephones and scheduling appointments
• Collecting co-payments and assisting with procedures
• Cleaning and stocking rooms, handling refills and pre-authorizations
• Rooming patients, scheduling procedures, lab work, EHR charting
• Performing various clinical duties as needed

Job Requirements:

• Medical Assistant diploma, certification, or graduate transcript
• Experience with NextGen EHR and interventional pain medicine office preferred
• Excellent communication and telephone skills
• Familiarity with medical terminology, ICD-10, CPT coding
• Knowledge of HMOs, PPOs, and insurance plans
• Strong typing and math skills, ten-key by touch
• Enjoys a fast-paced environment
• NextGen EPM/EMR experience is highly desirable

Location & Schedule:

Full-Time Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM; Friday as needed.
