Job summary

Marathon Health, LLC is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our team on a PRN/Part-time basis. The Medical Assistant works closely with a primary care physician to deliver high-quality patient care and ensure a welcoming guest experience.

The role requires MA program graduation, 1 year of MA experience, CPR/BLS certification, and preferred phlebotomy experience. It supports front desk duties and clinical responsibilities within our care team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as Medical Assistant, preferably in primary care.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program or related program.
• National or state MA certification/registration preferred; required where law applies.
• CPR/BLS certification required at start date.
• Phlebotomy experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to room and ensure exam rooms are clean and stocked.
• Take vitals, perform blood draws, assist with procedures, and coordinate with labs.
• Prepare and administer approved medications and immunizations as directed.
• Front desk duties: scheduling, records requests, referrals, and coordination of care.
• Record data in medical records and communicate results to patients as directed.
