Job summary

Marathon Health is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our team. The MA works with a primary care physician to deliver patient care and provides a warm guest experience, handling both front-desk and clinical duties.

Responsibilities include vitals, blood draws, injections, procedures assistance, referrals, and accurate charting while supporting patient engagement. We offer growth in a supportive environment with strong benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant, preferably in Primary Care.
• CPR/BLS certification required at time of start date.
• National or state-specific MA certification or registration strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to rooms and ensure exam rooms are clean and stocked.
• Take vitals, draw blood, administer injections, assist with procedures.
• Front desk duties: scheduling, record requests, referrals, and coordination of care.
• Record data in the medical record per guidelines and communicate test results timely.
• Conduct outreach to patients to drive engagement among eligible groups.
• Maintain supplies and equipment for treatments.
