Marathon Health is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our team. The MA will support a primary care physician, deliver high-quality patient care, and ensure an exceptional guest experience. This role combines clinical duties with front-d desk responsibilities.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of MA experience, graduation from an MA program, and CPR/BLS certification. Certification/registration in the relevant state is strongly preferred.

Formación

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant in a Primary Care setting.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program or related program.
• National or state-specific MA certification or registration is preferred or required by the state.

Responsabilidades

• Escort patients to room and ensure exam rooms are cleaned and stocked.
• Take vitals, perform blood draws, give injections, and assist with procedures.
• Prepare and administer medications and immunizations as ordered.
• Front desk duties: scheduling, records requests, referrals, and check-in/out.
• Document accurately in the medical record per guidelines.
• Process test results and communicate results to patients as directed.
