Marathon Health is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our primary care team. The MA collaborates with a physician to provide patient-centered care, perform vitals, venipuncture, injections, and assist with procedures while supporting front desk operations and care coordination.

Qualifications include 1 year MA experience, completion of an MA program, and CPR/BLS certification; state-specific MA certification may be required.

Competenze

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant, preferably in primary care.
• Graduation from an MA program or related program is required.
• National or state MA certification/registration preferred; required where mandated by state.
• CPR/BLS certification is required at start date; phlebotomy experience is a plus.

Mansioni

• Escort patients to exam rooms and ensure rooms are cleaned and stocked.
• Take vitals, perform blood draws, injections, and wound care as directed by the Provider.
• Assist with procedures and collaborate on patient plans of care.
• Front desk duties: scheduling, records requests, referrals, and coordination with specialists.
• Document, process test results, and communicate results to patients as instructed.
