Job summary

QuadMed is hiring a Medical Assistant in Findlay, OH to join our employer health center with a primary care focus. You will work in a team-based setting delivering quality patient care and managing front-office tasks.

The role requires at least 1 year of MA experience, phlebotomy proficiency, and strong interpersonal skills. Bilingual in Spanish is a plus. Full-time schedule, working Monday–Friday, in-office.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate of accredited school of medical assisting or equivalent education/experience.
• Minimum 1 year of Medical Assistant experience.
• Advanced proficiency in phlebotomy and clinical lab procedures.
• Front office experience required.
• Bilingual in Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Measure and record vital signs (weight, height, blood pressure, etc.).
• Document patient interviews, histories, vital signs, treatments, test results in EMR.
• Assist medical staff with patient examinations and procedures.
• Use CPR skills as necessary.
• Maintain supplies, equipment, stocks and sterilize instruments.
• Provide patients with instructions and information for registrations and preparations.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information per regulations.
• Support front office duties including reception, check-in/out, and scheduling.
• May perform routine screening tests and collect lab samples where directed.
