Job summary

Marathon Health is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our team. You will work closely with a primary care physician to deliver high-quality patient care and an exceptional guest experience in a fast-paced primary care setting.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of Medical Assistant experience, completed a MA program, and holds CPR/BLS certification. Phlebotomy experience is preferred, and certification/registration is strongly preferred where required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program or related program.
• National or state MA certification/registration is strongly preferred and may be required where applicable.
• CPR/BLS certification required at start date.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to rooms and ensure exam rooms are cleaned and stocked.
• Take vitals, assist with procedures, and work with labs for additional tests.
• Prepare and administer medications and immunizations as directed by the Provider.
• Document accurately in the medical record and coordinate scheduling and referrals.
• Provide front desk support and handle patient check-in/check-out and records requests.
• Support outreach to patients to drive engagement and maintain supplies and equipment.
