Job summary

The role requires Graduation from a formal MA program and CPR/BLS certification at start. Prior MA experience in primary care is preferred, with phlebotomy experience welcome.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of Medical Assistant experience in primary care.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program.
• National or state MA certification/registration preferred; required where applicable.
• CPR/BLS certification required at start date.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to exam rooms and ensure rooms are stocked.
• Take vitals and assist with procedures.
• Administer medications and immunizations as directed.
• Front desk duties: scheduling, records requests, referrals.
• Document data in the medical record and communicate results.
