Job summary

Marathon Health is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our care team and deliver exceptional patient experiences at our on-site health centers. The Medical Assistant supports physicians, performs essential clinical duties, and helps manage the full patient journey from check-in to discharge.

The role requires 1 year of MA experience, formal MA training, and CPR/BLS certification at start date. Phlebotomy is a plus, with competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of Medical Assistant experience, preferably in Primary Care.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program.
• National or state MA certification or registration preferred.
• CPR/BLS certification required at start date.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to rooms and ensure exam rooms are cleaned and stocked.
• Take vitals, perform blood draws, injections, bandage wounds, assist with procedures.
• Coordinate with contracted labs for additional tests and manage results.
• Front desk duties: scheduling, chart requests, referrals, and coordinating care outside the clinic.
