Marathon Health is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our care team. This role supports a primary care physician, delivering high-quality patient care and providing an exceptional guest experience within our structured care model.

You will perform vitals, venipuncture, injections, and assist with procedures while coordinating front-desk tasks and ensuring accurate medical records. CPR/BLS is required; phlebotomy experience is a plus as we serve diverse patient populations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant, ideally in Primary Care.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program or related program.
• National or state-specific MA certification/registration preferred; required where applicable.
• CPR/BLS certification required at start date.
• Phlebotomy experience is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Escort patients to room and ensure exam rooms are stocked.
• Take vitals and perform blood draws; assist with injections and procedures.
• Prepare and administer medications and immunizations per Provider orders.
• Front desk duties: scheduling, records requests, referrals, and check-in/out.
• Document data in the medical record per guidelines; process test results.
• Communicate with patients to drive engagement and coordinate care.
• Maintain supplies and equipment for treatments.
