Job summary

Marathon Health is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our team. The MA will support the primary care physician, perform vitals, injections, phlebotomy, and assist with procedures, while also handling front-d desk duties and patient communications.

Responsibilities include rooming patients, documenting in medical records, coordinating referrals, and ensuring a positive guest experience. A formal MA program graduate with CPR/BLS is preferred; certification/registration per state

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as Medical Assistant, preferably in Primary Care.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program or related program.
• National or state MA certification/registration required or preferred depending on state.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to room and ensure exam rooms are cleaned and stocked.
• Take vitals, draw blood, give injections, and assist with procedures.
• Prepare and administer medications and immunizations as directed by Provider.
• Manage front desk duties: scheduling, records requests, referrals, and patient check-in/out.
• Document data in medical records per guidelines and communicate results to patients.
