Job summary

Marathon Health is seeking a Medical Assistant to join our primary care team and support both clinical and front-desk duties. You will work with a primary care physician to deliver quality patient care and a welcoming guest experience, handling vitals, injections, blood draws, immunizations, and documentation.

The role requires 1+ year of MA experience, completion of an MA program, CPR/BLS, and MA certification preferred by state.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as Medical Assistant, preferably in Primary Care.
• CPR/BLS certification required at start date.
• MA certification or registration preferred in applicable states.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to rooms and ensure exam rooms are clean and stocked.
• Take vitals, perform blood draws, injections, and assist with procedures.
• Prepare and administer medications and immunizations as directed by the Provider.
• Front desk duties: scheduling, records requests, referrals, and patient check-in/out.
• Document data in medical records and communicate test results to patients.
