Job summary

Marathon Health is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our care team. The Medical Assistant will support a primary care physician, perform vitals, administer medications as ordered, and handle front-desk duties to ensure a smooth patient experience.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of MA experience, completion of a MA program, CPR/BLS certification, and may hold MA certification/registration where required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program.
• CPR/BLS certification strongly preferred.
• MA certification or registration required where mandated by state.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to room and ensure exam rooms are stocked and ready.
• TakeVitals, review medical information and update health data for providers.
• Assist with procedures and administer medications per order.
• Front desk duties: scheduling, records requests, documentation, referrals.
• Document in the medical record and communicate test results promptly.
