Qualifications

• Epic experience preferred.
• BLS and CMA certifications preferred.
• 1-2 years direct MA experience or medical field work.

Responsibilities

• Assist junior Medical Assistants and participate in onboarding.
• Show patients to rooms, prep equipment, take vitals and document.
• Explain procedures, medications, diets, and provide education materials.
• Answer phones, handle dictation, insurance forms, and coordinate with departments.
• Collect specimens, log and prepare for testing; perform phlebotomy if competent.
• Maintain immunization inventory and check expirations.
• Provide immunizations as certified or supervised.
• Support quality initiatives like patient identifiers and hand hygiene.
