Job summary

Greater Good Health is seeking a Medical Assistant to support a PC clinic in Chubbuck, ID. The role collaborates with a Nurse Practitioner to provide holistic, patient-centered care for an elderly population in a value-based model.

The MA will perform vitals, screenings, vaccinations, phlebotomy, and assist with procedures while ensuring efficient clinic flow and strong patient communication. This is an on-site position in a fast-growing organization.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Successful completion of initial Medical Assistant onboarding program.
• 2+ years' experience as a Medical Assistant.
• Primary Care experience is a plus.
• 1+ year of Phlebotomy experience.
• Current BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association (Preferred).
• 6+ months of laboratory experience (Preferred).

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional clinical care to patients and support functions related to patient care activities.
• Manage patient panels in partnership with the Nurse Practitioner to provide high-touch, coordinated care.
• Assist with pre-visit activities and prepare exam rooms.
• Take vitals, review medications, and prepare patients for procedures.
• Support check-out and referrals, and coordinate follow-up care.
• Maintain equipment and cleanliness of exam rooms.
