Job summary

Marathon Health, LLC is hiring a Medical Assistant in West Lafayette, IN for a 24-hour weekly schedule. You will support a primary care physician, handling both front desk duties and clinical tasks to ensure a smooth patient experience.

Qualifications include graduation from an MA program, state or national MA certification, and CPR/BLS certification at start. Onsite role with competitive benefits is offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of MA experience, preferably in primary care.
• Graduation from an MA program or related program.
• CPR/BLS certification required at start date.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to room and ensure exam rooms are cleaned and stocked.
• Review prior medical information and gather updates for the provider.
• Take vitals, draw blood, give injections, and assist with procedures.
• Prepare and administer medications and immunizations per orders.
• Collaborate with care team to develop patient care plans.
• Front desk duties: scheduling, records requests, referrals, check-in/out.
• Record data in medical records per guidelines and document accurately.
• Process test results and communicate results to patients promptly.
• Engage patients through outreach to drive care participation.
• Maintain supplies and equipment for treatments and exams.
