Job summary

Marathon Health is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our team in Newnan, GA. The Medical Assistant will work closely with a primary care physician to deliver excellent patient care and provide an exceptional guest experience, performing both clinical duties and front-desk tasks.

You will take vitals, assist with procedures, manage medications and immunizations, and support care coordination across the patient journey.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program.
• National or state-specific MA certification or registration is strongly preferred.
• CPR/BLS certification required at time of start date.
• Phlebotomy experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to room and ensure exam rooms are stocked.
• Take vitals, perform blood draws, give injections, and assist with procedures.
• Prepare and administer medications and immunizations per Provider order.
• Front desk duties: scheduling, record requests, referrals, check-in/out.
• Records data in the medical record and processes test results.
• Participate in outreach to engage eligible patient groups.
• Maintain clinical and office supplies for treatments.
