We are currently looking for an experienced Medical Assistant to join our team. The Medical Assistant works closely with a primary care physician to deliver excellent patient

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience as Medical Assistant, preferably in Primary Care.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program or related program.
• MA certification or registration (state or national) preferred/required per state.
• CPR/BLS certification required at start date.
• Phlebotomy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to room and ensure exam rooms are stocked.
• Take vitals, draw blood, give injections, and assist with procedures.
• Prepare and administer medications and immunizations per provider order.
• Record data in medical records per guidelines.
• Coordinate with care team to address gaps in care.
• Front desk duties: scheduling, records requests, referrals, check-in/out.
• Process test results and communicate timely results.
• Participate in outreach to patients to drive engagement.
• Maintain clinical and office supplies and equipment.
