Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Medical Assistant to join our Primary Care team in Arlington Heights. The role supports clinicians, prepares patients for exams, collects specimens, and performs routine lab work while handling select clerical tasks.

Responsibilities include administering medications under supervision and maintaining accurate patient records. Flexible hours and travel to other locations may be required, with a full-time 40-hour schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Certification or registration through AAMA/ARMA/NHA or other certifying agency preferred; at least 6 months clinical experience recommended.
• Current CPR Certification required by American Heart Association.

• Under physician supervision, administer selected medications or injections.
• Perform clerical duties related to clinic operations and support a busy Primary Care office.

Hourly Pay Range:

$20.29 - $29.42 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights:

Position: Medical Assistant

Location: 1051 W Rand Rd Arlington Heights

Full time 40 hours

Hours: Shifts vary 6:45a-3:15p, 8-4:30p, 8:30-5p, or 10a-7p rotating Sat 8am - 12pm

Required Travel: No

This role includes some travel to other locations and requires flexible hours to meet operational needs

What You Will Do

Under the direction of the Supervisor, performs select clinical functions to enhance delivery of patient care. Prepare patients for physical examination, obtain specimens, conduct select routine laboratory tests and records results, routine diagnostic tests and may perform phlebotomy. Under general supervision of a physician, administer selected medications/injections. Also performs clerical duties related to clinic operations. MA supports a very busy Primary Care office with multiple providers and additional clinical staff.

What You Will Need

• High school diploma or GED - REQUIRED
• Certified, Registered, and Clinical Certified Medical Assistants (CMA, RMA or CCMA) are required to provide current certification or registration through American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA), American Registry of Medical Assistants (ARMA), National Health career Association (NHA) or any other certifying agency and should have at least 6 months of clinical experience. - PREFERRED
• Candidates who are not certified or registered should have at least one year of clinical experience. - PREFERRED
• Current CPR Certification issued by American Heart Association. - REQUIRED
