The Coquille Indian Tribe seeks a Medical Assistant to support medical providers in patient care within a clinic setting in Oregon. You will update charts, take vitals, administer vaccines, assist with procedures, and help with referrals and records.

The role requires CMA/CNA certification within a year, phlebotomy experience, and proficiency with electronic health records. Clinical duties include EKGs, specimen collection, and patient communication.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CMA or CNA certification within one year of hire.
• Phlebotomy experience/certification preferred.
• Experience in outpatient clinic assisting medical providers.
• Experience with electronic health records and patient management.

Responsabilidades

• Greet and direct visitors and prepare patients for visits.
• Update charts, obtain vitals, and record results.
• Administer vaccines as directed and assist with procedures.
• Process referrals, prior authorizations, and orders.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism under pressure.
• Operate lab equipment and perform basic tests as needed.
• Schedule appointments and manage calls, faxes, and emails.
• Maintain supplies, inventory, and room cleanliness.
• Assist with medical records coding and billing notes.
• Support reception or records duties in absence of primary staff.
