Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CMA or CNA certification within 1 year of hire required.
• Experience with Electronic Health Records and Electronic Patient Management required.
• Knowledge of medical terminology required.
• Experience using Microsoft Office 365 applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams, required.
• First Aid/CPR certification required or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment.
• Current Oregon driver's license in good standing with Tribe’s insurance carrier required.

Responsibilities

• Greets and directs visitors.
• Prepares patients for visits by updating charts and taking vitals.
• Performs medication reconciliation for patient safety.
• Updates electronic health records and processes orders as needed.
• Cleans and prepares exam rooms and stocks supplies.
• Administers vaccines and medications as directed.
• Assists with procedures and patient care, including EKGs and lab swabs.
• Maintains patient scheduling and communications with patients.
• Supports clinic operations and records processing.
