Zusammenfassung

VillageMD is seeking a Medical Assistant to provide patient support and facilitate an exceptional patient experience at our Spring, TX location. You will welcome patients, prepare them for appointments, and communicate required information about services and visits.

The role requires Nationally Certified or Registered Medical Assistant credentials and current BLS certification, with at least 1 year of experience in primary care or urgent care settings preferred.

Qualifikationen

• Nationally certified or registered Medical Assistant required.
• Current BLS or healthcare provider BLS certification required.

Aufgaben

• Performs point-of-care laboratory tests, EKGs as ordered or indicated, suture/staple removal, dressing changes, and other patient care activities.
• Collects and documents vital signs, histories, and screenings.
• Authorizes prescription refills as directed.
• Prepares patients, rooms, and supplies for visits or examinations.
• Phlebotomy and proper specimen processing.
• Cleans and maintains treatment rooms and equipment.

Ausbildung

Nationally Certified or Registered Medical Assistant (NHA, AAMA, AMT, AMCA, NAHP, NCCT, or AAH)
