Job summary

Oak Street Health is seeking a Medical Assistant to gather medical information and support providers in making healthcare decisions. You will work within a Care Team to conduct screenings, vital signs, and routine diagnostics during appointments.

As an MA you will assist in charting in EMR, coordinate with colleagues, respond to patient requests, and help maintain infection control and clinic operations. A strong patient-service orientation is essential.

Qualifications

• State or national certification for medical assistant is required.
• (1) year of MA experience and CPR/BLS certification.
• Experience with Electronic Medical Records and basic computer skills (Gmail, Word/Docs, Excel).
• US work authorization is required.
