Job summary

Patient First is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant/Clinical Support role to locate patients, obtain vital signs, and coordinate with Physicians and Nurses. The position emphasizes accurate triage, phlebotomy, and EMR documentation in a fast-paced primary care setting.

The ideal candidate will have a High school diploma or equivalent, CPR certification, and at least one year of clinical experience. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work at any center as needed is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be able to obtain accurate vital signs and assist with patient care.
• Experience with basic lab tasks and phlebotomy is preferred.
• Ability to use electronic medical record systems effectively.

Responsibilities

• Locate patients and prepare them for exams.
• Obtain and document vital signs.
• Order and coordinate labs, imaging, and supplies.
• Assist Nurses and Physicians in patient care and procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and restock treatment areas.
• Sterilize instruments and manage laundry and equipment.
• Report to Charge Nurse at end of shift.
• Support center operations and teamwork.
