Job summary

Patient First is seeking applicants to join our clinical team. Responsibilities include locating patients, obtaining vital signs, triaging, and preparing patients for exams conducted by Physicians and Nurses.

The role requires using the electronic medical record system, ordering labs and x-rays, and assisting Nurses and Physicians with treatments while maintaining a clean, well-stocked treatment area and supporting a positive team environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Minimum typing experience.
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Minimum of one year of clinical experience in a hospital or physician’s office preferred.
• Ability to hear pages, bells, and phone system.
• Ability to sit, stand, and walk for long periods of time (4–7 hours).
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Attend CPR classes and code drills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize work.
• Willingness to work at any center due to staffing or center emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Locate patients, obtain vital signs, triage, and prepare for exams.
• Understand and use the electronic medical record system; order labs, x-ray, and supplies as directed.
• Assist Nurses and Physicians with treatments and patient care; communicate symptoms and questions.
• Maintain cleanliness of treatment areas and restock supplies; attend staff meetings.
