Patient First in Gainesville, VA is hiring a healthcare associate to support clinical operations. You will locate patients, obtain vital signs, triage, assess conditions, and prepare patients for examinations by Physicians and Nurses, while using the electronic medical record system to document care.

The role also supports labs and restocks supplies. Requirements include being at least 18, a high school diploma, and ideally one year of clinical experience in a hospital or physician’s office.

Formación

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Minimum of one year of clinical experience in a hospital or physician’s office preferred.
• Ability to hear pages, bells, and phone system.
• Ability to sit, stand, and walk for long periods (4–7 hours).
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to attend CPR classes and code drills.
• Ability to prioritize and multitask.
• Willingness to work at any center due to staffing needs.

Responsabilidades

• Locating patients and obtaining accurate vital signs by visual and auditory measures.
• Triage patients, assess medical condition, and prepare for examinations.
• Use the electronic medical record system for documentation.
• Order lab, x-ray, and medical supplies as directed.
• Assist Nurses and Physicians with treatments and care.
• Maintain cleanliness and restock treatment rooms.
• Receive and store supplies and report to Charge Nurse at shift end.
