Job summary

Patient First is seeking a patient support associate to locate patients, obtain vital signs, and triage. The role involves assisting nurses and physicians, ordering labs, and communicating questions about care as needed.

Candidates should have at least a high school diploma, one year of clinical experience preferred, and be able to lift up to 50 pounds and sit/stand for long periods. Salary ranges from $18.75 to $21.25 per hour depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum typing experience.
• Ability to hear pages, bells, and phone system.
• Ability to sit, stand, and walk for long periods of time (4–7 hours).
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Locating patients and obtaining vital signs by visual and auditory measures, triaging patients.
• Notifying Nurse/Physician when patient is ready for exam and relaying questions about lab or x-ray needs.
• Assisting Nurses and Physicians with patient care and preparing for medical treatment.
