Job summary

Patient First in Lake Ridge, VA is seeking a compassionate team member to support patient intake and clinical duties. The role involves locating patients, obtaining vital signs, triaging, and assisting physicians and nurses with patient care.

Applicants should be comfortable using the electronic medical record system, handling labs, and maintaining clean and stocked treatment areas. A high school diploma and 1 year of clinical experience are preferred; willingness to work at any center as needed

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Minimum of one year of clinical experience in a hospital or physician’s office preferred.

Responsibilities

• Locate patients and obtain vital signs.
• Understand and use the EMR system.
• Order lab, x-ray and medical supplies as directed.
• Assist Nurses and Physicians with patient care.
• Maintain cleanliness of treatment areas and equipment.
• Restock treatment rooms as needed.
• Report to Charge Nurse before leaving the shift.
