Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Medical Assistant/Patient Support Assistant at Swedish Hospital. The role is full time with Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM hours, including some travel to other locations.

You will support physicians with front office tasks, patient check-in/out, vital sign documentation, and basic phlebotomy if required. Requirements include high school diploma or equivalent, CPR certification, and at least 1 year in a medical office.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; medical assisting program preferred.
• CPR certification through the American Heart Association required.
• One year of work experience in a medical office or related field preferred; on-the-job training available.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones and schedule appointments.
• Collect co-payments and complete patient registration.
• Provide front office support and verify insurances.
• Greet patients and escort them to exam rooms.
• Document vital signs, allergies, medications and reason for visit.
• Phlebotomy and injections may be required.
