Qualifications

• Medical Assistant diploma or 1+ years of relevant experience.
• Enrollment in an accredited Medical Assistant program or EMT certification.
• Preferred: active Medical Assistant certification, CPR certification, EPIC EMR experience, and performing clinical tasks such as phlebotomy and medication administration.

Responsibilities

• Prepare examination rooms and sterilize equipment.
• Room patients, obtain health histories, and check vital signs.
• Document patient care using electronic medical records.
• Administer injections and perform aspirations.
• Assist providers with minor in-office procedures.
