Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of an accredited medical assistant program or equivalent Military experience with MA-I eligibility.
• Interim Medical Assistant Certificate (WA) required at hire OR Medical Assistant Certificate (WA) required at hire.
• Medical Assistant Certificate (WA) within 12 months of hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required at hire.

Aufgaben

• Collect health data about patient status, record vital signs, and document in the medical record.
• Communicate with patients and coordinate care with nurses, physicians, and other team members.
• Provide patient and family instruction aligned with the care plan and preventive care guidance.
• Accurately document patient history and procedures; maintain safe, private patient environment and adhere to safety and infection control standards.
• Participate in staff orientation, performance reviews, and follow KFHPW policies on dress code and professional appearance.
