Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of an accredited medical assistant program.
• WA Interim MA or MA certificate required at hire, MA-C within 12 months.
• BLS certification required at hire.
• Knowledge of patient privacy and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Collect health data, vitals, and visit purpose; document in medical record.
• Communicate with patients and families, explain care plans, and coordinate care.
• Assist team with nursing plan of care and patient education.
• Document procedures accurately and maintain safety and privacy.
• Support staff development and participate in performance processes.
