Frederick Primary Care Associates is seeking a Medical Assistant to join our team in Frederick, MD. This full-time non-exempt role involves vital signs, vaccination administration, and EMR documentation, with supervision by physicians.

You will work a schedule including 8:30 AM–7:00 PM on Mondays and 8:00 AM–5:30 PM on Tue–Thu, in a patient-focused clinic. Experience in clinical care is required, along with strong customer service and tech aptitude.

Competenze

• Must possess strong clinical as well as customer service skills.
• Strong technology aptitude.
• Prior experience in the field is required.

Mansioni

• Take patient vital signs.
• Use Athena EMR to track patient complaints and histories.
• Administer immunizations to ensure preventative care.
• Follow up with patients by phone.
• Triaging patients experiencing medical emergencies.
• Discuss medications and their effects with patients under provider supervision.
• Other duties as assigned.
