Job summary

Frederick Health is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant to join our Employer Solutions team. The position runs Monday to Friday from 7:00 am to 5:30 pm with quarterly Saturdays 7:00 am to 1:00 pm.

The MA performs clinical duties and some administrative tasks under the direction of providers, including preparing patients, taking vital signs, and assisting with procedures. The role focuses on patient care, accurate documentation in the EHR, and supporting patient education.

Qualifications

• Certified/Licensed MA preferred; CNA/EMT/LPN alternatives accepted.
• 1–2 years in medical practice or clinical setting preferred.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examination and assist with procedures.
• Take and record vital signs and document in the EHR.
• Assist physicians during exams and minor procedures.
• Document accurately and educate patients on treatments.
