Frederick Primary Care Associates, P.A. is seeking a Medical Assistant to support providers in a busy clinic. You will take patient vitals, administer immunizations, and use Athena EMR to document complaints and histories.

This full-time role offers a competitive pay range and comprehensive benefits, including health, dental, vision, vacation, holidays, sick leave, and disability coverage. Overtime opportunities may be available after six months based on performance.

Qualifications

• Must possess strong clinical as well as customer service skills.
• Strong technology aptitude.
• Prior experience in the field is required.
• Experience with EMR systems (Athena) preferred.

Responsabilités

• Taking patient vital signs to be reported to your supervising provider.
• Using Athena EMR to track patient complaints and histories to ensure optimal long-term care.
• Administer immunizations to ensure optimal preventative care.
• Following up with patients and their requests via phone.
• Triaging patients experiencing medical emergencies.
• Discussing medications and their effects with patients under provider supervision.
• Other duties as assigned.
