Job summary

Clearway Pain Solutions is seeking a Medical Assistant to provide direct patient care under general direction. You will enter patient intake and provider orders into the EMR, request medical records, record vitals, and assist with patient flow while maintaining HIPAA/privacy standards.

You will also support the team with documentation, education materials, and administrative tasks. The role requires strong communication, multitasking, and attention to detail in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of Internet and Microsoft Office (MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook).
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Able to establish and maintain professional relationships with doctors, staff and the public.
• Able to work independently and in a team.
• Able to follow verbal and written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Enter patient intake and provider orders into the EMR.
• Request medical records and verify patient information.
• Take and record patient vitals and medical history.
• Maintain clean and stocked examination rooms and labs.
• Assist with provider communications and patient education.
• Obtain prior authorizations for radiology and prescriptions as needed.
• Prepare, clean, and maintain medical equipment and instruments.
• Support Ancillary Medical Assistants as back-up.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
