Concentra in San Jose is seeking a Medical Assistant to perform routine medical and testing procedures under the direct supervision of the treating clinician. You will help prepare patients for examinations, record histories, take vital signs, and support the team to deliver quality care and a great patient experience.

The role requires a high school diploma and completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program or military medical training with current credentials preferred.
• Ability to work effectively in a dynamic clinical office environment.
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA) preferred but not required.
• Bilingual English/Spanish abilities preferred.

Mansioni

• Greet patients, obtain medical histories and verify patient information.
• Prepare patients for physical examinations, including vitals and required testing.
• Provide assistance during examinations and treatment.
• Perform ancillary testing and tasks as directed by the Center Medical Director (e.g., PFT, EKG, injections, audiograms, blood draws).
• Perform DOT and Non-DOT drug and alcohol testing.
• Cross-train to perform Front Office duties including check-in/out and communication of wait times.
