Concentra in Fresno, CA is seeking a Medical Assistant for a full-time role. The position involves direct patient care, onboarding flow, and routine medical tasks, including blood draws and EKGs. The applicant may be trained in front-office duties, improving patient experience and clinic efficiency.

Required are a high school diploma and MA training; CMA/RMA is preferred but not required. Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus. Benefits include standard health plans and time off.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• CMA/RMA preferred but not required.
• Ability to work effectively in a dynamic clinical office environment.
• Conversational English and Spanish skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients, obtain medical histories and verify information.
• Prepare patients for exams, take vital signs and perform testing.
• Assist during examinations and treatment.
• Perform ancillary testing (PFT, EKG, injections, audiograms, blood draws) as certified.
• Perform DOT and Non-DOT drug and alcohol testing.
• Cross-train to perform Front Office duties (check in/out, authorizations, wait times).
