Job summary

Texoma Care in Denison, TX, affiliated with Texoma Medical Center, is seeking a Medical Assistant to support physicians across patient intake, vitals, venipuncture, and clinic procedures. The role includes EMR documentation and room preparation. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

On-site clinic with front desk coverage duties as needed. The successful candidate will hold a High School diploma, current BLS/CPR, and Medical Assistant credentials or equivalent experience, with strong knowledge of

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Current BLS/CPR certification required.
• Medical Assistant Certificate of Completion or 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant preferred.
• Familiarity with medical terminology is required.
• Experience with patient check-in and check-out per clinic protocol.
• Knowledge of general medical office procedures and EHR entry.
• Ability to balance daily cash and reconcile charges.
• Proficiency in basic computer programs (MS Office).

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of patient care duties under physician supervision.
• Interview patients and record vital signs (pulse, temp, BP, weight, height).
• Collect specimens (venipuncture) and assist with procedures as directed.
• Enter documentation in the Electronic Medical Record per IPM guidelines.
• Prepare treatment rooms for examinations and assist in front desk coverage as needed.

Skills

Education
