Job summary

TexomaCare is seeking a Medical Assistant to support physicians in patient exams, take vital signs, perform venipuncture, and assist with procedures under physician direction. You will prepare treatment rooms, interview patients, and document in the Electronic Medical Record per IPM guidelines.

You may also help at the front desk as needed. The role requires a High School diploma, current BLS/CPR, and Medical Assistant certification or related experience, with bilingual English-Spanish preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Current BLS/CPR certification is required.
• Medical Assistant Certificate or 1 year of MA experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interview patients and measure vital signs (pulse, temp, BP, weight, height).
• Perform venipuncture and assist with physician-directed procedures.
• Document in the Electronic Medical Record per IPM guidelines.
• Prepare treatment rooms for examinations and assist in covering the front desk as needed.
