Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Rooms and interviews patients to obtain medical information and vital signs.
• Assists physicians during examinations, handing instruments and materials or administering injections.
• Prepares treatment rooms for patient examinations, keeps rooms stocked, cleans, and disposes of biohazard supplies.
• Schedules procedures and obtains authorizations as necessary.
• May collect blood or specimens and prepare them for testing; administer injections.
• Uses the EHR system to perform front-office duties.
