Marathon Health, LLC is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our care team. The MA will work closely with a primary care physician to deliver patient care and provide an exceptional guest experience, functioning as both a Medical Receptionist and performing clinical duties.

Essential duties include rooming patients, taking vitals, coordinating with labs, administering medications and immunizations, and supporting front desk tasks such as scheduling and records requests.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program.
• National or state MA certification or registration is strongly preferred.
• MA certification or registration is required in states where mandated.
• CPR/BLS certification required at start date.
• Phlebotomy experience is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Escort patients to room and ensure exam rooms are stocked.
• Take vitals, draw blood, administer injections and assist procedures.
• Work with contracted labs for tests.
• Coordinate with care team to develop patient plans of care.
• Front desk duties: scheduling, records requests, and referrals.
• Document data in the medical record and communicate results to patients.
