Northwest Physicians Group in Amarillo, TX is seeking a Medical Assistant to support examination and treatment under physician supervision. The role includes interviewing patients, measuring vital signs, and assisting in procedures within IPM guidelines.

You will prepare treatment rooms, document in the EMR, and assist at the front desk as needed. A Medical Assistant certificate and strong communication skills are required, with bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with medical terminology and office procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist in examination and treatment of patients under physician supervision.
• Interview patients, measure vital signs (pulse, temp, BP, weight, height).
• Perform venipuncture and procedures as directed by physician.
