Job summary

Caughlin Medical Group is seeking a Medical Assistant to support both front and back office procedures. The role acts as a liaison between providers and patients, addressing inquiries and coordinating care across sites within the health system.

Responsibilities include rooming patients, taking vitals, processing specimens, handling referrals, and assisting with patient education. Flexibility and strong organizational skills are essential in a dynamic Medical Home setting.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently.
• Experience in a multi-physician office practice preferred.
• Nevada license for Office Laboratory Assistant or Certified Laboratory Assistant required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to exam rooms and take vital signs per guidelines.
• Document patient communications and update charts accurately.
• Prepare lab specimens and assist with referrals and authorizations.
• Assist with rooming, reviewing medications, and patient education in Medical Home settings.
• Support cast/bracing activities as needed in department-specific roles.
