Job summary

The Christ Hospital Health Network is seeking a Medical Assistant in Cincinnati to assist physicians, manage patient flow, and maintain EMR documentation. You will prepare charts, review systems, and help with pre-certifications and referrals to support efficient clinic operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate Degree and/or Certified/Registered MA preferred.
• 2–5 years MA or related experience preferred; experience in various care settings.
• Excellent computer skills and strong verbal/social abilities; willing to travel to other offices.
• BLS certification preferred and successful completion of skills orientation.

Responsibilities

• Assist in examination and treatment under physician direction.
• Maintain patient flow, document review of systems, and record vital signs in EMR.
• Prepare patient charts in EMR, obtain test results, and ensure chart completeness.
• Refill medications, pre-authorize as needed, and manage medication records.
• Answer calls, schedule appointments, perform check-ins/outs, and assist pre-certifications.
