Job summary

Valley Health System is hiring a Medical Assistant to work under the supervision of a physician or NP/PA. You will perform Medical Assistant tasks, assess and educate patients, and support clinical operations on the shift.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, plus BLS verification and about one year of clinical experience. Training in specialty-specific assisting is a plus; non-exempt status applies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• BLS certification (AHA Healthcare Provider) required or in place before orientation.
• One year of experience in a clinical setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision of physician or mid-level clinician, performs Medical Assistant tasks and educates patients.
• Maintains standard nursing procedures and patient care routines.
