Valley Health System seeks a dedicated Medical Assistant in the VH FAM MEDICINE department at Hedgesville to join our team. You will perform MA tasks under supervision, assess and educate patients, and support physicians and APPs to ensure smooth clinic operations.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, at least one year in a clinical setting or MA certification, and BLS certification before orientation. We offer a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• One year of experience in a clinical setting or completion of a Medical Assistant certification program required.
• BLS Certification (Basic Life Support) - American Heart Association Healthcare Provider (HCP) required prior to orientation.
• Training in specialty-specific assisting desired.

Responsibilities

• Under the supervision of the physician or advanced practice clinician, performs Medical Assistant tasks and educates patients.
• Assesses and educates patients.
• Assist physicians/advanced practice clinicians in day-to-day clinical activities.
