Endeavor Health is seeking a Medical Assistant/Patient Support Assistant in Vernon Hills, IL. This role supports the physician practice by answering phones, scheduling appointments, collecting co-pays, and completing patient registration.

You will verify insurances, greet patients, document vital signs, and provide front-office support. May perform phlebotomy and injections; CPR is required; HS diploma or equivalent is required with MA training preferred; on-site, full-time position.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; medical assisting program preferred but not required.
• CPR certification through the American Heart Association required; MA certification preferred but not required.
• One year of work experience in a medical office or related field preferred; on‑the‑job training provided.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones.
• Schedule appointments.
• Collect co-payments.
• Complete patient registration.
• Provide administrative support to the physician practice.
• Check in and check out patients.
• Verify insurances.
• Greet patients and escort to exam room.
• Document vital signs, allergies, medications, and reason for visit.
• Provide front office support as needed.
• Perform basic vitals (BP, height, weight).
• Phlebotomy and injections may be required.
