Trinity Health IHA Medical Group is seeking a compassionate Medical Assistant to support our providers in delivering exceptional patient care. You will work directly with patients, assist with clinical procedures, support care coordination, and help create a positive healthcare experience every day.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED completed.
• Successful completion of accredited MA program or externship.
• MA re-certification CEUs if credentialed.
• MA non-credentialed options with EMT/Paramedic license and CPR.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and prepare patients for appointments.
• Collect and document patient histories, vital signs, and health information.
• Assist providers with exams, procedures, testing, and specimen collection.
• Administer medications and perform diagnostic testing as directed.
• Communicate test results and provider instructions to patients.
• Provide patient and family education to support better health outcomes.
• Coordinate care between patients and providers and support care continuity.
• Support quality improvement initiatives and disease management programs.
